Weekly Update 3rd May

Construction activity for the week included;
• Site Entry Road (from base of hill to top) - earthworks for chainage 0400 - 1500
• Commencement of earthworks for turbine access roads for WTG 36-53
• Bulk earthworks at Powerlink substation bench
• Bulk earthworks at Upper Laydown Area
• Geotechnical investigation of remaining turbine foundations
• Mobilisation of rock crusher
• Field survey work continues for UXO, Cultural Heritage and Environmental aspects prior to vegetation clearance in new areas
• 37 Northern Quolls have now had tracking collars fitted to allow for clearance before works are started
• Current Disturbance Area = 9.4ha; Total Allowable Disturbance Area = 73ha.
