Weekly Update 26th April

Construction activity for the week included;
• Main access road - clearing and grubbing, profiling,
sub-base works for Chainage 400 - 1700
• Commencement of earthworks for upper laydown area
• Excavation of the first wind turbine foundation (WTG#3)
• Bulk earthworks commenced for Powerlink bench for connection to the electricity grid
• Clearing of spur roads to wind turbine locations from main access road continues
• Clearing, weeding controls and other environmental requirements in accordance with management plans are being implemented and maintained as necessary.
• Field survey work continues for UXO, Cultural Heritage and Environmental aspects prior to vegetation clearance in new areas
